Hi! Welcome back to an especially tasty BGCNF At Home! Today we’re going to be looking at how we can make a healthy plate and transform our favorite meals into MyPlate meals!
Plan Your Meal
In this activity, you are going to create your perfect menu for an entire day. Remember to include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here’s the catch: all meals must include all five food groups. You also need to keep your proportions similar to the proportions displayed on the image to the right.

What You Like
Think about the following questions:
1. What are your favorite foods to have for breakfast?
2. What are your favorite foods to have for lunch?
3. What are your favorite foods to have for dinner?
Write or draw your favorite foods for each meal.
Add Some Food Groups
Look at your meals and see what food groups are missing. Remember, each meal should have all five food groups: fruits, vegetables, protein, grains and dairy. Add foods to your meals as needed.
Picture Your Meals
Type or write down your meals, take a picture of your drawings or make one of your perfect meals and snap a photo.
