JACKSONVILLE, Fla., November 18, 2025 – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida has received a $75,000 contribution from Honda to upgrade and expand STEM labs at 15 Club locations across Duval County. These enhancements will include hands-on learning stations, 3D printers, robotics kits, and interactive technology designed to ignite curiosity and build skills in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Serving youth ages 6 to 18, the Clubs are committed to providing engaging, future-focused learning experiences that close the opportunity gap and inspire the next generation of innovators. These new STEM lab upgrades will create exciting environments where Club members can explore, experiment, and gain real-world skills in a supportive setting.

The $75,000 will fund equipment, supplies, and learning tools that directly support STEM exploration and education at the following 15 Clubs in Duval County:
Gregory Drive Elementary, Long Branch Elementary, Chaffee Trail Middle, Arlington Middle, River City Science Academy Middle, Windy Hill Community Center, The Bridge Learning Center, Citi Teen Center, Clanzel Brown, Baxter Luther, Southwind Villas, Victory Pointe, Celebration, NFL YET, and Jordan Park.
The Honda investment supports the Clubs’ STEM goals to:
- Deliver high-impact, project-based learning in areas like robotics, coding, and environmental science
- Build critical thinking, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills
- Expand access to future-focused programming and increase participation among girls and underrepresented youth in STEM
Once upgrades are completed, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida will host a special ribbon cutting event to showcase the transformed STEM spaces and celebrate the positive impact this contribution will have on local youth.
