“15th Annual McKenzie’s Run Set for Saturday, November 23, 2024”
Jacksonville, FL — The 15th Annual McKenzie’s Run is just around the corner! On Saturday, November 23, 2024, runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in the 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run at the world-renowned TPC Sawgrass. This family-friendly event will raise funds to support the life-changing work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, empowering young people in our community.
Kicking off at 8:30 a.m. with the 1-Mile Fun Run and followed by the 5K at 9:00 a.m., participants will experience the scenic beauty of TPC Sawgrass, home of THE PLAYERS Championship, while contributing to a great cause. The excitement doesn’t end at the finish line! The Runner’s Village After-Party will be packed with fun activities including music, dancing, food, and games for the whole family.
Proceeds from McKenzie’s Run support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida and continue the inspiring legacy of McKenzie Noelle Wilson. These funds help provide free, impactful after-school and summer programs for youth ages 6 to 18. Through mentoring, tutoring, and specialized academic programs, Boys & Girls Clubs offer a safe, nurturing
environment that empowers young people to reach their full potential.
