Jaguars Linebacker Ventrell Miller Hosts Back-to-School Event to Support Jacksonville Youth

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Ventrell Miller, through the Ventrell Miller Foundation, is teaming up with Universal Property & Casualty Insurance to host a Back-to-School Event with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida aimed at equipping and inspiring local children as they head into the new school year.

The event will take place on Friday, August 29, at 5:00 p.m. at the Baxter Luther Boys & Girls Club, 191 Pecan Street (Arlington). Media are encouraged to arrive by 4:45 p.m. The event will impact approximately 100 children in grades K–5, providing them with school supplies, backpacks, and encouragement to start the academic year with confidence. This effort is part of Miller’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the Jacksonville and Central Florida communities by supporting its youth.

“This community has shown me so much love and support,” said Miller. “I want to make sure our kids feel equipped and excited to succeed in the classroom. This is more than just handing out supplies, it’s about making sure they feel good and ready as they enter the new school year.” Miller will be available for interviews prior to the event’s opening remarks.

Thank you to partners: Universal Property & Casualty Insurance, Sprayground, Bombas, Jacksonville Jaguars, and VyStar Credit Union.
