McKenzie’s Camp Deep Pond, operated by Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, is a unique outdoor education and adventure camp dedicated to helping young people discover their potential in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment. Nestled in the natural beauty of North Florida, McKenzie's Camp Deep Pond provides youth with opportunities to unplug, explore, and grow through hands-on learning, leadership development, and outdoor experiences.
Through programs focused on teamwork, confidence-building, environmental education, and personal responsibility, campers develop essential life skills while creating lasting memories and meaningful friendships. Guided by trained, caring staff, every experience at McKenzie's Camp Deep Pond reflects BGCNF’s commitment to academic success, good character, and healthy lifestyles.
At McKenzie’s Camp Deep Pond, campers do more than enjoy the outdoors. They build resilience, strengthen character, and gain the confidence to succeed in school, life, and beyond.
The waterfront is the heart of camp. Campers swim off the beach, paddle Kayak Cove, cast from the fishing dock, and take on a floating obstacle course that has humbled plenty of counselors.
Spring Break Camp is a single five-day session. Summer Adventure Camp runs ten weeks. Pick one, pick a few, or book the whole summer.

The lake's main event. Climb, balance, splash, repeat.
Paddling basics, water safety and open-cove exploring.
Rods, bait and patient coaching. First catches happen here.
Supervised swim time on private shoreline.
Classic camp games on the beach and in the open field.
Full sand court. Pickup games all week long.
Instruction, form and target work on a supervised range.
A camper favorite. Accuracy games and friendly competition.
Bikes, helmets and a track built for learning to ride hard.
Guided hikes through real Northeast Florida woods.
Fast, loud, endlessly replayable. Two pits so nobody waits.
Group challenges that only work when campers work together.
Structured enough that parents know what's happening. Loose enough that kids feel like it's their summer.
Check-in, group assignments and morning flag.
Each group starts with either water or land activities.
Meal and a break in the new camp hall.
Groups switch to whichever side they did not do in the morning.
Closing circle, bus loading and parent pickup.
